Orangetheory® Fitness is one of the fastest-growing global fitness franchises with studios located throughout the United States as well as internationally.  We are a scientifically designed, one-of-a-kind, group personal training workout broken into intervals of cardiovascular and strength training. Led by highly skilled coaches, each Orangetheory Fitness workout incorporates endurance, strength and power elements through a variety of equipment including treadmills, rowing machines, TRX® suspension training and free weights.   


We are looking to hire a 1099 Contractor for the position of Multimedia Design Specialist who will work closely with our Learning and Development Manager to drive and own the development, production and delivery of multimedia content (video, podcasts, and VR) in our online learning environment. Working in our new state-of-the-art production studio in Boca Raton (ready Q4 2020), this individual works collaboratively with the different departments across OTF HQ to build creative, engaging and high-quality multimedia learning content for our large franchise network and HQ staff using cutting-edge interactive media technologies for training and education.



·       Owns the production of best-in-class audio and video content using the latest technologies including video, podcasting, webcasting and VR.

·       Owns the design and development of multimedia-based layouts (graphics, animation, video, and online tutorials) for Orange University, our online learning platform.

·       Collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) to produce eLearning modules in accordance with program objectives and instructional design principles.

·       Assists with the development of departmental graphics, videos, audio files, for large-scale OTF learning events using sound instructional design strategies and techniques.



·       Bachelor’s Degree or certification in Instructional Design, Motion Graphics/Audio Visual Design, Education Technology, or equivalent work experience in a related field is required

·       A minimum of 2-3 years working in the fields of Learning & Development, Training & Instruction, and/or Graphic Design

·       Experience in video production and editing

·       Experience podcasting and using VR technologies

·       Mastery of video and audio editing, podcasting, webcasting, and other media technologies

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

·       Mastery of the Adobe Suite



·       Experience using eLearning authoring tools, especially Adobe Captivate

·       Familiarity with adult learning principles and theory

·       Experience working in LMS platforms
